Portuguese students make electric motorcycle brand

1 of 2

Three younger Portuguese motorcyclists have turned their success from constructing elements and equipment into an electrical bike start-up.

The trio met as a part of the MotoStudent programme, investing £350 every right into a mini model they referred to as Axiis.

After the success of Axiis, the three have taken their earnings and invested them into constructing an electrical bike model they’re calling Liion, with a supermoto as their first mannequin.

It has a CNC-machined alloy body, single-sided swingarm and carbon-fibre bodywork, with a 132bhp electrical motor producing 177lb.ft of torque – not unhealthy from a whole bike that weighs simply 133kg.

For now there’s no pricing or availability because the three are on the lookout for funding to show their bike right into a manufacturing machine. Thrilling instances for innovation in biking!
